This page explains, briefly and in plain language, what personal data we collect through the site and how we use it.

Who we are (data controller)

What data we collect

Through the booking-request form we only collect:

• name
• email
• phone (optional)
• check-in and check-out dates
• room type and your message

By email or WhatsApp

If you write to us directly by email or WhatsApp, we use the details you send solely to reply to your request, under the same conditions described here.

Why we use it (legal basis)

We process this data to respond to your booking request — that is, steps prior to a contract, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Any follow-up message relies on our legitimate interest in being helpful, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Who receives the data (processors)

• Formspree — processes the form submission (USA, under standard contractual clauses).
• Cloudflare — hosts the site.
• Netopia — processes payments, only once online payments go live (phase 2). They handle the card data; we never see it.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep booking requests for about 12 months after the last contact, then delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Write to us at rezervari@brater.ro and we will sort it out.

If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.

Cookies

The site does NOT use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies — only the strictly necessary ones for it to work. That is why you see no cookie banner.
